Jennifer Kaplan

Jennifer Kaplan Jennifer Kaplan is the Producer and Director of “Mixed Blessings,” (www.mixedblessingsfilm.com) a film about interfaith families that has been shown on PBS affiliates and in film festivals around the globe.  She is the founder of Spencer Films, her own production company. Previously, she served as the Fundraising Producer for Connecticut Public Broadcasting.  While living in New Jersey, she ran her own special events consulting business, was the Director of Membership & Marketing for the Delaware-Raritan Girl Scout Council and served as Assistant Director of The American Jewish Committee.  She worked at River Film Productions as a production assistant for the award winning POV presented “Family Name” and was a research assistant for the Cinemax presented documentary “Questioning Faith.”  At the Maine International Film and Video Workshops in 1999, Jennifer directed her first short documentary, “Life’s Work.” She is a cum laude graduate of Brandeis University.


Caleb Crosby

Caleb Crosby Caleb has been a cinematographer for over 18 years.  He was elected into the Society of Camera Operators in Hollywood in 2000.  He received the 2002 Lumiere Prize at the New Orleans Film Festival and has shot for films including “Heimbelly,” “True Self,” “Brakeboy,” "The Back Room,” and “Crockpots and Microwaves” as well as commercials and episodic television including “Gray’s Sporting Journal.”  He also directed, produced and filmed outreach programming for the Council on Drug and Alcohol.


Evelyn Carrigan

Evelyn Carrigan Evelyn is currently producing and editing “The Berries,” a 3-part children’s show as well as directing and editing two 30-minute programs for National Geographic School Publishing.  Evelyn cut season 1 of the NESN weekly series Port O’ Call and is the music director for this series as well.  Evelyn has worked in other capacities for independent films and television programs including Disney’s “The Last Shot,” The History Channel, American Experience and The Discovery Channel.


Alan Spaulding
Editor/Graphic Designer
 
   
Alan Spaulding Alan was the editor for the director’s first film “Mixed Blessings.”  He cut a 26-minute version of the film for educational purposes and edited the full-length version in addition to creating an hour of extras for the film.  Alan has served as Adjunct Faculty at Middlesex Community College in the graphic arts department and is a talented designer.  He created the film’s website (www.mixedblessingsfilm.com) and the accompanying publicity materials (DVD inserts, posters, postcards etc).  As a freelance editor, he edited “Return to Taribithia” and other commercials and PSAs.
